We’re excited to be able to offer a reliable source of fresh local and organic produce during this challenging time! And equally excited to be partnering with Norwich Meadows Farm

https://www.norwichmeadowsfarm.com/

Zaid and Haifa Kurdieh run Norwich Meadows Farm, an organic farm based in Norwich, NY. They are extraordinarily committed to the environment, growing without the use of harsh chemicals and using natural fertilizers such as kelp to enrich their soil. Their incredible assortment of produce not only satisfies the taste buds of NY's finest chefs, but also those of the farmers themselves. There is nothing they sell that they wouldn't be extremely excited to cook with at one of Haifa's legendary farm dinners.

Season begins mid -June and lasts for 22 weeks, until mid-November.  Our pick up day will be Wednesdays, morning and evening.

We can continue to accept members until March 7th. No latecomers this year, sorry! (Farm's rule)

 WHY JOIN A CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The CSA is a relationship between you and the farm (Norwich Meadows Farm in NY State). Unlike shopping at the grocery store for produce each week, you have a direct relationship with your farmer. CSA members pay in advance for a share of the upcoming harvest and are ensured high-quality local produce, and the farm is ensured a consistent and secure market. Everything in the weekly CSA share is grown with great care (and love) on our Certified Organic fields, and delivered to your neighborhood drop-off point just hours after harvest.

Buy Local

Your support helps small local farms stay afloat.

Connect with the food you eat by meeting your farmers and exploring the farms.

Eat Well

Buy the freshest food for your family.

Explore new foods and learn to cook with them.

Be Healthy

Eat more fresh vegetables and fruit.

Share healthy eating habits with your kids. Expose them early to a variety of regional produce.

Protect the Environment

Support farmers who take care of their land by growing food in ways that take care of the soil.

Cut down on the number of miles your food travels from the farm to your plate.

Build Community

When a community comes together weekly to share in the harvest a community is formed. Our pick-up site become a weekly meet-up for swapping recipes, stories, and even produce! CSA members also make a connection with their farmers, bringing them closer to their food.

Save Money

While a CSA subscription may feel like a lot of money up front, you end up only spending around $27 per week for fresher than fresh vegetables, lasting longer than store-bought produce, leading to less waste.
